What is Wyler Assurance?
Wyler Assurance provides Covington area drivers with even more peace of mind. Enjoy a 6-month/6,000-mile warranty on select pre-owned vehicles, covering a range of powertrain components. Coverage starts from the milage and date listed on your buyer's order at the time of purchase, and Florence area drives will only pay the first $100 of a covered repair.
Are All Vehicles Covered by Wyler Assurance?
Wyler Assurance is available on select vehicles, and as-is vehicles (which may have a balance of a manufacturer's warranty) are not covered. Vehicles must be under 10 years old, have less than 100,000 miles on the odometer, and pass a multi-point inspection and reconditioning process. Certain makes, models, and equipment packages may be excluded. Finally, commercial use may preclude coverage.
What's Covered?
Wyler Assurance covers powertrain components, including the engine block and turbocharger, transmission/transfer case, and drive axles. Each component is covered by the failure of an internal lubricated part. Additionally, seals or gaskets replaced are covered in conjunction with a qualifying repair. Parts not listed here are not covered.
Gas and diesel engine components covered include internally lubricated components. Pistons, piston rings and pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and bearings, oil pump, timing chain, gears and/or belt, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods and lifters are covered.
Transmission case and transfer case components are covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part. The torque converter, bell housing, vacuum modulator, transmission mounts and transmission pan are also covered. Internally lubricated parts include bands, clutch packs, gears, pumps, shafts, shift forks, shift rails, synchronizers, and solenoids.
Axle/final drive housing is covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part. All internal lubricated parts, axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, constant velocity and double offset joints, drive shaft center bearings, supports, and propeller shafts are covered by Wyler Assurance.
